Who we are

Senka Advisory is a founder-led research and strategy advisory, operated by Dylan DeGuzman. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Senka Advisory, and "you" means anyone who visits this website or contacts us through it. We are responsible for the personal information described below.

You can reach us at senkaadvisory@gmail.com about anything in this policy.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you send us a brief through the contact form we receive your name, your email address, the company or project name if you fill that field in, the service you selected, and the message you wrote. If you email us directly we receive whatever your email contains.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which normally include your IP address, the page requested, the time of the request, and your browser type. These logs exist for security and reliability and are not used to build a profile of you.

If you accept analytics in the cookie banner, our analytics provider records aggregate page view information. If you decline, no analytics script is loaded at all.

Information we do not collect

This site has no advertising trackers, no social media pixels, and no third party scripts other than the analytics option you can refuse. We do not ask for payment details on this website.

Why we collect it

  • To answer your enquiry and, if it goes further, to scope and price the work
  • To keep a record of what was agreed during an engagement
  • To keep the site available and defend it against abuse
  • To understand which pages are useful, but only where you have accepted analytics

Our lawful basis is your consent where you contacted us or accepted analytics, and our legitimate interest in running and securing a website and responding to business enquiries.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets one strictly necessary item in your browser's local storage, named senka.consent.v1, which records whether you accepted or declined analytics so we stop asking. It contains no identifier and is not sent to us.

Analytics cookies or scripts are loaded only after you press accept. If you decline, nothing is loaded, and the banner does not reappear on every page.

You can change your mind at any time: reopen the cookie choice. You can also clear site data in your browser settings, which resets the choice.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising. We use a small number of service providers who process information on our behalf:

  • A hosting provider that serves this website and keeps server logs
  • A form delivery provider that passes your message to our inbox
  • An email provider that stores our correspondence with you
  • An analytics provider, only if you accepted analytics

We may also disclose information where the law requires it. If you would like the current list of named providers, ask us and we will send it.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not become projects: up to 24 months, then deleted
  • Project correspondence and deliverables: for the length of the engagement and up to 3 years afterwards, unless you ask us to return or delete them sooner
  • Server logs: typically 30 to 90 days, as set by our hosting provider
  • Research participant data: as described under research participants below

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time.

California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected and how it is used and shared, the right to delete it, the right to correct it, and the right not to be treated differently for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.

To exercise any of these, email senkaadvisory@gmail.com. We will respond within the period the applicable law requires, and we may ask you to confirm your identity first.

Research participants

If you take part in a study or product test we run, that is covered by a separate consent form given to you at the start of the study. That form states exactly what is collected, how long it is kept, and what the client will and will not see.

As a rule, we report findings to clients in aggregated or pseudonymized form. We do not pass identifiable data to a client without your specific written permission, and you can withdraw from a study and ask for your data to be removed at any point before the findings are finalized.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS. Project and participant material is kept in access-controlled storage available only to the people working on that engagement. No system is perfectly secure, so if something does go wrong we will tell affected people promptly and explain what happened.

Children

This website is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 through this site. Where a study involves participants under 18, we obtain consent from a parent or guardian as part of that study's own process.

Changes and contact

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be noted on this page for a reasonable period.

Questions, requests, or complaints: senkaadvisory@gmail.com.

This policy describes how the website behaves as built. Before you publish, confirm the named legal entity, the mailing address, the actual providers you sign up with, and the retention periods you can genuinely meet. If you operate in the EU or UK, or handle sensitive categories of data, have it reviewed by a qualified advisor.
