Independent product research + strategy
Real-world evidence
for products people use.
We research what your audience wants, test it with real users, then help you build and market it. Engagements run from a focused few weeks to several months, depending on the question.
Field report — format sample
Not a completed study
Logged across the full study window, not sampled once at the end — so adoption that fades in week two actually shows up, instead of getting averaged away.
In their words. Testers' own comments go in the report unedited, credited by role and age range only.
What went wrong. Every drop-off gets a real reason from the tester, not a guess from us.
Five things we do, in the order we usually do them.
Most engagements start at the top and move down. You can also hire us for one stage and keep the rest in house.
Research and consumer insights
We find out what your audience actually wants before you spend a budget finding out the expensive way — interviews, surveys, competitive teardowns, and segmentation, written up so a decision can be made from them.
Product testing with real users
We put the product in the hands of a recruited group of testers and log what happens over days or weeks, not minutes. You get behavior, not opinions about behavior.
Strategy
We turn the research into a decision — positioning, priorities, pricing logic, and a plan written plainly enough to hand to the people who have to build it.
Product support
Where a project needs a prototype, a data pipeline, or a dashboard, we bring in a specialist for that piece and name them to you during scoping — never a hidden subcontractor.
Growth and marketing
Getting it in front of people, then proving which part of that effort paid — channel tests, organic content built from the testing itself, and the measurement that shows which half worked.
Where the content runs
Organic content, built from the testing itself.
Real testers using a real product on their own phones is footage, not just data. Short-form video comes out of the same sessions that produce the findings — the same channels a Gen Z audience already spends their time in.

Every wearable that flops tested fine in a lab. We test in a dorm room, a gym bag, a Tuesday commute — where products actually live or die.
Most firms ask people what they think. We watch what they do.
The tester panel uses the product in normal life and reports back on a schedule set with you. A focused study runs a few weeks; a deeper adoption question can stay open for months. Opinions drift. Logged behavior does not.
The panel, in facts
- Panel size
- 10–50 testers for a typical pilot, scaled to the study
- Recruited through
- University networks, athletic programs, campus organizations
- Typical study length
- 2–12 weeks, longer for adoption questions
- You receive
- Weekly logged-behavior reports, structured feedback, field notes, a synthesis memo

How an engagement runs.
Four movements, usually across six to ten weeks, with the option to stay engaged longer when the question needs a wider field window.
Why work with Senka.
The work is scoped around a decision, done directly, and honest about what the evidence can and cannot show.
Clear scope from the start
Every brief starts by naming the decision, the audience, the timeline, and what a useful answer looks like. If one stage is enough to answer it, we say so rather than add work that doesn't help.
Close to the audience
Senka is built around recruiting focused student cohorts through university networks. The goal is not a giant anonymous panel; it is direct access to the right testers, with enough context to understand why they behave the way they do.
Direct, not routed
You work directly with the people doing the work, start to finish. When a project needs a specialist — a builder, a designer, an analyst — we bring one in and name them to you during scoping. No hidden subcontractors.
Evidence, and its limits
Every recommendation traces back to something we measured, watched, or tested. Where a sample is small or a finding is soft, the report says so rather than dressing it up.
A note on evidence: a finding from twelve testers is not a finding from ninety, and a two-week window is not a quarter. Every report states the sample and the window, so you can weigh a recommendation instead of taking it on trust.
Tell us what you are trying to find out.
Send a short brief. We reply within 1 day with a scope, a timeline, and a price, or an honest note that we are not the right fit.
